Ballroom at the Convention

So I'm at Pi-Con gaming/lifestyle/nerdstuff/etc convention in West Springfield. Stacy and I taught a little ballroom for their Masquerade Ball event.

Before I continue, one of the Olympics correspondents just said this:
"The Olympic Games, besides being the greatest accomplishments in sports, is possibly our world's best excuse for throwing stuff."
A man on NBC with the fancy suit on television just said that. On television. Nationally. Not a young, hip guy, either. An old dyed-in-the-wool kinda guy. Said that. On television.

An Introduction

I created this blog on my family website to help me keep track of some of the technical things I discover in life, mostly about computer tricks and hacks. As regular people get more experimental with their computing systems they inevitably turn to the internet for details and guidance. There they may find a dizzying array of informational sites, outdated howto's, and incomplete specifications. As I was navigating this web recently, trying to figure out solutions for one of my own projects, I realized that I should be documenting my progress.
